A water laboratory in a forest?

Updated: Oct 23, 2019

On August 1, I was able to take very interesting photos in the Waterloopbos in the Flevopolder. A historic open-air laboratory in a beautiful polder forest. In the last century, hundreds of studies have been carried out into the behavior of water. You will find remnants of research into the Delta Works, but also waterworks for exotic places such as the port of Lagos. Walking routes lead you past the models of waterworks that now lie like ruins in the forest. A unique and very beautiful location. . . !
